See-through case back
Like the openwork, the see-through case back is designed to be admired. Through the sapphire crystal back, the intricate gears and parts interlock in precision, offering a detailed view that will delight mechanical watch enthusiasts.

A floating small second hand
The cutout subdial fully exposes the second hand, creating the impression that it is floating – a striking and dynamic visual effect.
Dome-shaped sapphire crystal
Dome-shaped glass, adopted in the 1940s–50s to reduce reflections and improve legibility, has become a hallmark of vintage watch design.
In the CAS-38, this traditional form is preserved with high-quality, rare sapphire crystal. With hardness second only to diamond and exceptional clarity, it resists scratches in daily wear while faithfully reflecting the passage of time.
High-performance Japanese automatic movement
