What rests on your wrist is not merely the time.

It is the distillation of everything Japan has built – its craft, its precision, its aesthetic sensibility.

Knot’s premium model, the AT-38, is a purely Japanese-made automatic watch, uncompromising in its commitment to Japanese-made components down to the very last part.

Case, movement, finishing – every element shaped and refined by the hands and sensibility of Japan’s craftspeople.

The heart that drives every tick.
Unseen, yet unmistakably felt.

The MIYOTA cal.9015 – a mechanical movement born from Japan’s precision engineering, combining reliability with exceptional performance.
At 28,800 vibrations per hour, its high-beat rhythm delivers a smooth, unbroken flow of time.
Within each second resides the pride of Japanese craftsmanship.

A finish that captures even the most fleeting light – a level of refinement that mass production can never reach.

This technique goes beyond simply polishing a metal surface, refining the surface itself so that light is reflected exactly as it should be.
In a process that tolerates no margin of error, the craftsman relies on instinct and experience alone to bring the case to life.

  • A casting process in which stainless steel, heated in a furnace to 1200°C, is repeatedly struck using eight differently shaped dies to forge the case.

  • Sallaz polishing: a technique applied to the hardened, sharp-edged forged case to achieve a flawlessly flat, distortion-free surface finish.

  • Hayashi Seiki Manufacturing has been widely recognized for its skill and commitment to passing on its craft, receiving the 4th Fukushima Prefecture Monozukuri Award in 2011.

  • Stainless steel case SUS316L

Knot uses SUS316L stainless steel as standard, renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance and employed in surgical instruments. It generates almost no metal ions, making it a suitable choice for those with metal sensitivities.
Note: This does not guarantee the absence of allergic reactions for all individuals.

  • Non-reflective, coated sapphire glass

The crystal of the Premium Automatic series features the same anti-reflective coated sapphire glass found in luxury watches. The coating is on one side only, which enhances the visibility of the dial while minimizing any discoloration of the glass.

  • See-through case back

The case back features a see-through design, allowing the movement to be admired from the outside. The intricate architecture of the MIYOTA cal.9015 and the steady rhythm of its beat can be enjoyed as their own visual experience.

A Special AT-38 for the 10th Anniversary: Reflection Color Edition

Depth and light, born from the layering of different tones.
The impression shifts with the angle of view and the quality of the light, bringing a rich sense of dimension to the dial.
That sense of transition mirrors the light of the city as it changes through the day.

  • Gray

A metallic gray inspired by the interplay of light and shadow across urban architecture.
Light falls across the rigid cityscape, shifting quietly to create depth within sharp lines, bringing a refined presence to the wrist.

  • Green

A green inspired by the parks that appear within the city. Bringing stillness into the midst of the bustle, it evokes the calm of an urban oasis.

  • Red

A red that captures the energy of the city at night. Reflecting the dramatic interplay of neon light and human energy, it carries a passionate, commanding presence.

  • Brown

A brown that mirrors the evening sun as it falls between buildings, and the streetscapes that catch its reflection. A moment suspended between day and night – warmth and quiet, captured on the wrist.

  • Blue

A blue that evokes the deepening of night in the city, as light softly dissolves into the dark.

The lingering glow of the city gently wavers, bringing a calm, cool presence to the wrist.

A patina-finished leather strap, crafted to complement the dial’s interplay of light and color.

Created in collaboration with the globally acclaimed patina collective Fg-trente.

To commemorate the launch of the Reflection Color Edition, a special complete set is offered at an exclusive price. The set comprises the watch, strap, and D-buckle – three pieces together.

Limited to 50 pieces per color, the watch will be delivered in a special 10th anniversary edition box.
