The ATC-40 is one of our range of mechanical models. We have achieved what many would have declared impossible. From the movement to the case to the dial, the ATC-40 is the revival of Japanese watchmaking that had long been lost, and at a price that many can afford.

The cases of our mechanical watches are finished with a special polishing technique performed by our partners at Hayashi Seiki Seizo. They manufacture many of the finest mechanical watches in Japan, with the case refinement process bearing similarities to Japanese sword making. Ultra-pure stainless steel is hammered and forged at high temperature, with the process repeated to produce a case with high metal density. The finishing touch is a special polishing technique known as “Sallaz polishing”. Hayashi Seiki Seizo is home to a formidable team of skilled craftsmen who carefully polish each piece to a beautiful, undistorted mirror surface.

The mechanism is highly sophisticated with some 310 parts – twice the number usually found – its high-beat movement oscillating 28,800 times per hour.
